Life Drawing at Bristol Grammar School new term starts September 2010
Life drawing that doesn't cost and arm and a leg! If you're living in Bristol or the surrounding area and are looking for affordable evening life drawing perhaps you'd like to pop along to the class that's held at Bristol Grammar school on Thursday evenings. It costs £55 for ten weeks and includes a truly inspiring choice of models each week so there's no need to worry about being stuck with a back view all evening! There is some tuition if needed but it's more ideally suited to those with some experience or the confidence to just come along and have a go.
The class is designed to be as cheap as possible. Not everyone finds it easy to afford to commit to a ten week block but at least in this case if you miss two or three sessions then you'll still find this a reasonable class. I don't charge different rates according to your income but if you're only in Bristol for a short or are genuinely short of cash I can occassionslly bend the rules.
It's also cheap enough that if you were attending a more structured course elsewhere but wanted another class just for extra practise it can and quite frequently does fit the bill.
It also an opportunity to draw from a terrific selection of models each week. Because the class has been so popular and the space so big I've been able to get at least four models in every week doing a variety of different poses of different times. If you like drawing people, and let's face it that's what it's about there will never be another class like this one!
To book a place, get directions etc you need to email willstevens@lifedrawingclasses.co.uk Unfortunately you can't just drop in on the evening. (It's a popular course and I need to have some idea of who will be there but you'll find the booking process is pretty straightforward). Next term begins at the start of May so get in touch quickly if interested.
